Owning the largest and most technologically advanced bus manufacturing base in the world with an area of 1.12 million square meters, Yutong produces more than 75,000 units a year. Yutong has established a complete 6m-25m product portfolio, covering various market segments including tourism and public transportation.
Yutong has a global presence and its buses are successfully running across all continents with a strong back-up through more than 70 chartered spare parts dealers, over 152 overseas parts distribution outlets, and three dedicated spare parts centres at Dubai, Cuba and Venezuela.
In 2008, the only scientific research institute in the bus industry was set up by Yutong. Investing more than US Dollar 50 million in this institute, this is being used to specially focus on experimental studies providing accurate test data for research and development. The most technically advanced electro-coating line for buses with fully adopted German technology was started in 2009. This state of the art facility has been remarkably enhancing the anti-corrosion capability of Yutong buses.
